Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Victoria County

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Victoria County, Texas. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Day-to-day duties: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
