Crane rigger wanted in Hughes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Hughes County, South Dakota. You will be based at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
