We are recruiting: safety officer (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Choctaw County, Alabama. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Full-time with occasional weekends.
