Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Hertfordshire, England. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On a typical shift you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; score the top of loaves before baking; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds.
