Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
