Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Chester County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts.
