Mechanical press operator — City of Danville

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in City of Danville, Virginia. On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
