Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Pay around ₦140,000 per month, based on your experience.
