We are recruiting: CNC mill setter-operator (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Decatur County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
