Gas appliance installer wanted in Palo Alto County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Palo Alto County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Your main tasks: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
