Glass and glazing technician wanted in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. You should have: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Day-to-day duties: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
