Great opportunity: sheet metal press operator (Alabama)

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Clay County, Alabama. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Meals and transport allowance provided.
