Great opportunity: we are hiring a car painter in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale Full-time, day shift. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
