GMAW welder wanted in Long County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Long County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime 2+ years on the tools preferred.
