Now hiring: rebar installer (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Angus, Scotland. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
