Plastering hand — Saint Landry Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. The role involves: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge You should have: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites 3+ years on the tools preferred.
