Chiller technician wanted in St. Helens

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a chiller technician in St. Helens, England. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Day to day you will check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. What we are looking for: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds 3+ years on the tools preferred.
