Mosaic tiler — Plumas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Plumas County, California. You will work on a residential construction site. On the job you will handle: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
