Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Donley County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
