Cnc setter-operator wanted in Assumption Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a tool room. On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret; write and edit G-code programs at the control. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
