Foundry operative wanted in Warren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Warren County, Kentucky. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts We offer $15 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off.
