Marble fitter wanted in Macomb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a marble fitter in Macomb County, Michigan. You will be based in a stone processing yard. You should have: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Day-to-day duties: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
