Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Kemper County, Mississippi. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
