Lift erector • San Juan County, Washington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift erector in San Juan County, Washington. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
