Crawler crane operator • Polk County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Polk County, North Carolina. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
