Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Geidam, Yobe State. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required 4+ years on the tools preferred.
