Cement mason — King and Queen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in King and Queen County, Virginia. Requirements: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
