MIG welder wanted in Haywood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Haywood County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
