We are recruiting: stamping press operator (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Barton County, Missouri. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
