Trowel-trade bricklayer • Yagba West, Kogi State

Join our team: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Yagba West, Kogi State. You will work on a commercial construction site. Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦550 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
