Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Sandwell, England. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
