Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in City of Lynchburg, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Six days a week, one day off.
