We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Illela, Sokoto State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦240,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
