Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Cumbria, England. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 1+ years on the tools preferred.
