Immediate opening: PVC profile cutter (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. Your main tasks: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine 5+ years on the tools preferred. $7,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
