Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Piatt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. Your main tasks: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Part-time with flexible hours.
