Powder spray gun operator • Tuscaloosa County, Alabama

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a powder coating unit. The role involves: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Requirements: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $250 per day plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
