Vacancy available: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Van Buren County, Michigan. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
