Port container crane operator • Fountain County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Fountain County, Indiana. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
