Gas metal arc welder — Gashaka

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Gashaka, Taraba State. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
