Glass fitter — Worth County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Worth County, Iowa. You should have: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Day to day you will work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
