Great opportunity: argon welder (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Logan County, Kansas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
