Elevator repair technician — Nome Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Nome Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a residential tower block. The role involves mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
