Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions The role involves: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
