Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen On the job you will handle: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
