You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Day to day you will top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox.
