Pipe TIG welder • Oxford County, Maine

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Oxford County, Maine. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. You will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
