Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble mason in Madison County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
