Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On a typical shift you will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
