Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Taylor County, Florida. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code The role involves: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Part-time with flexible hours. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
